Kobayashi Glass Art Studio | Tokyo Crystal Glass | Kiriko, Sagging (Kiln Work)
Established in 1908, the techniques are now passed down by the third generation, Yoshiro, and the fourth generation, Kohei. They create intricate and lavish all-over pattern designs, jewelry, and also produce glass blanks using their original "Sagging Kiriko" technique. Kobayashi Glass Art Studio is one of the "Edo Kiriko" workshops that has been in operation for nearly 100 years. The third-generation craftsman, Yoshiro Kobayashi, and the fourth-generation, Kohei Kobayashi, currently run the workshop. This glass was made by Yoshiro, the third generation. Yoshiro is a prominent figure in Japanese "Edo Kiriko," having received awards at the "Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition" organized by the Japan Crafts Council, and his works have been selected as gifts for former Russian President Gorbachev.

Normally, it will be delivered in an original paulownia box.
