These glass hina dolls are exclusively available at TSUCHI-YA. They feature a palm-sized, round silhouette of a closely-placed pair, with a charming, plump shape that we meticulously crafted.
They contain delicate, pale glass beads reminiscent of hina-arare. The pink, yellow, green, and white hina-arare symbolize the four seasons and convey a wish for healthy growth throughout the year. The glass also contains silver leaf and bubbles, causing it to sparkle when light hits it. Hina dolls are displayed only once a year as a prayer for healthy growth and happiness. Outside of the season, they can be carefully stored in the paulownia wood box provided. You can display them by placing the included felt and gold screen on the lid of the paulownia box.
