Kobayashi Glass Art Craft ｜ Tokyo Crystal Glass ｜ Kiriko, Sagging (Kilnwork)
Founded in 1908, the techniques are now carried on by the third-generation Yoshio and fourth-generation Kohei. They produce intricate and lavish all-over patterns, jewelry, and even create glass pieces from scratch using their original "sagging kiriko" technique. Kobayashi Glass Art Craft is one of the "Edo Kiriko" workshops that has been around for nearly 100 years. The workshop is currently run by the third-generation Yoshio Kobayashi and the fourth-generation Kohei. This particular glass was crafted by the third-generation Yoshio. Yoshio has been recognized for his work in "Edo Kiriko" in Japan, including winning awards at the "Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition" organized by the Japan Art Crafts Association and having his work chosen as a gift for former Russian President Gorbachev.

The product is normally delivered in its original paulownia wood box. If you prefer a noshi, it will be an uchi-noshi and shipped wrapped in wrapping paper.
