A series of delicate vertical lines. This glass is small enough to fit in one hand, but the countless lines give it a sense of spaciousness. How simply and impressively can cuts be applied to a transparent world? This product was born from the efforts of Kohei Kobayashi, the young fourth-generation owner of Kobayashi Glass Crafts, one of the Edo Kiriko workshops. Kobayashi Glass Crafts is one of the oldest workshops in Edo Kiriko, having been in business since the end of the Meiji period. His father, Yoshiro, the third-generation owner, has created many glittering works with cuts on the entire surface of the glass. While respecting his father, he is constantly searching for ways of expression that only he can achieve. If his father expresses things in a flashy way, he wondered if he could express beauty more with simple lines, and this glass was born. Enjoy your favorite drink with this sophisticated cut in one hand.
