The second special exhibition by TSUCHI-YA is being held on the 2nd floor of our Asakusa Kappabashi Main Store from Wednesday, November 2nd to Monday, November 14th!
Yuji Nakano is a glass artist based in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture.
In 2018, he established Toribusoi Glass Craft Studio.
He works with Saki Shimizu, a glass artist who was also born in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture.

Yuji Nakano, who is fascinated by glass as a natural material and incorporates "nature" into his works, and Saki Shimizu, who is drawn to the "supernatural" beauty of glass and shapes wishes, prayers, and thoughts into her works, are two artists who use this workshop as their studio, engaging with nature, observing daily life and customs, and creating glass pieces.
