For our next exhibition, we have invited harunasugie, who creates jewelry and objects using flameworking.

TSUCHI-YA is the only store in Tokyo that permanently carries harunasugie's works.
While we regularly stock the SHIBOU ring, the exhibition will feature the hollow "HIFU" series and the "SUGATA" series rings with poured silver, as well as a small selection of ear cuffs and bangles.
The classic SHIBOU ring is frequently worn by our staff, and we often receive compliments on it in-store. And when we explain the concept, people are always surprised: as the name suggests, it is inspired by the "fat" of the human body.
"Fat," which is often disliked and considered ugly, is elevated into a work of art made of glass and worn on the body. This concept was born from harunasugie's contemplation of the body, appearance, and the external aspects of herself as perceived by others.
Jewelry with the body as its theme makes us conscious of the very existence of the body and the boundary separating its inside and outside.
Transparent glass, which can be described as an ambiguous entity, connects the body and the adornment like a gradation.
