A pop-up store will be held at Isetan Shinjuku.

This time, TSUCHI-YA glassware and crafts,
At Isetan Shinjuku Main Building 1F Miscellaneous Goods/Isetan Seed
We will be holding a limited-time pop-up store from Saturday, September 2nd to Tuesday, September 5th, 2023.

TSUCHI-YA's original products "Frosted Water Bottle" and "KJ Carafe and Water Cup" will be released in stores and online before the event begins.
We have a selection of glass cups and vases that highlight the individuality of 16 glass artists from around the country.

A glass artist turns a sake bottle into a stylish water bottle

This popular product has been popular since August 2022, when TSUCHI-YA was founded.
This time, an encounter with a buyer from Isetan Seed, who was looking for glass items suitable for personal use or as gifts, led to the decision to further improve the quality and relaunch the product.

There are many different glasses and cups on the market,
I would also like to see more options for glass bottles for pouring water.
We want to update the things we touch and see in our daily lives with beautiful glass.
That's how the water bottle was born.
The surface of the bottle is designed with a delicate texture and a high-quality finish.
Glass artist Erika Tada sandblasts and hand polishes each piece to make it translucent.

Czech glass caps are
The glass is cut using the Kiriko technique by the Aokisha Glass Studio, headed by Yuutaro Kijima, further enhancing the bottle's dignity.

You can choose the color to match your food and interior.
In addition to the popular "Transparent," two other colors, "Deep Sea" and "Light Ink," are added to the lineup for a total of three colors.
The new color "Deep Sea" is a shade between green and blue that is created during the manufacturing process.
When manufacturing the two standard colors, green and blue, intermediate colors always occur during the process of changing the color from green to blue in the kettle.
Because these products were not of consistent color, they could not be recycled and some of them had to be discarded.
Fascinated by this ever-changing and exquisite color, we adopted it as the material for our water bottles. The subtle differences in intensity, blueness, and greenness are the defining features of "Deep Sea."

Through the design and the skill of the glass artist, the sake bottle has been elevated to a glass craft that shines with rarity and individuality, resulting in the creation of a sophisticated new water bottle.
