The Ikko Tumbler is an Edo Kiriko glass with an original design by Muromachi Glass Crafts. The design is an adaptation of the traditional Edo Kiriko pattern "Tortoise Shell Pattern" and it scatters the surrounding colors, creating a complex glow that changes depending on the viewing angle, like crystal or a kaleidoscope. The pattern of connected hexagons is called "Kisshomonyo" (auspicious pattern) in Japan, which is considered to be auspicious.
The shine of the cut glass, the weight when you hold it in your hand, and the sound that the glass makes with the ice are all things that only crystal glass can offer. These glasses will enrich your time enjoying a drink at home by letting you see, touch, hear, and taste.
The tumbler is recommended not only for plum wine and sake, but also for carbonated beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks. The timeless design means you can use it in any situation. We also have a rocks glass with the same design.
