Established in 1908, the workshop's techniques are now carried on by third-generation Yoshio Kobayashi and fourth-generation Kohei Kobayashi. They produce intricate and luxurious all-over patterned pieces, as well as jewelry and original works created from glass blanks using their unique "sagging kiriko" technique. Kobayashi Glassworks is one of the "Edo Kiriko" workshops that has been operating for nearly 100 years. Currently, third-generation Yoshio Kobayashi and fourth-generation Kohei Kobayashi manage the workshop, and this glass was created by third-generation Yoshio. Yoshio is a prominent figure in Japanese "Edo Kiriko," having received awards at the "Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition" organized by the Japan Crafts Council and having his works selected as gifts for former Russian President Gorbachev.

Normally, it will be delivered in an original paulownia box.
