Blooming in water. Glass
Mr. Takatomi runs a glass art studio and cafe on a small hill in Tsukiyama, on the shores of Lake Toya, surrounded by abundant nature. The secret to the clarity of his glass and the whiteness of its highlights lies in the unique glass mixture he uses. At TSUCHI-YA, we carry a wide range of glass items from him, varying by season, including rock glasses, shot glasses, plates, vases with kenzan, and chopstick rests – it would be harder to find a category he doesn't make.
