Mr. Takatomi operates a glass workshop and cafe on a small hill in Tsukiyama, by the nature-rich Lake Toya. The transparency of his glass and the whiteness of its highlights are due to a secret in his glass formulation. At TSUCHI-YA, we offer a wide variety of his glass items each season, from rock glasses and shot glasses to plates, vases, flower holders, and chopstick rests – it would be harder to find a category he doesn't produce.
