Edo wind chimes made from school bag leather tanzaku At Shinohara Furin Honpo, a long-established Edo wind chime store, we came across some transparent glass wind chimes with bubbles and wrinkles that had not been used because they were not suitable for painting.
And these strips are made from leather used to make school bags, which is left over from the manufacturing process at Tsuchiya Kaban Seisakusho.
We combined these two and upcycled them into colorful, transparent glass Edo wind chimes.
