玻璃底部的切口被稱為“Nanako”，這是典型的江戶切子圖案。魚子部分向玻璃杯口移動時會發生變化，使圖案散開。 Uogo是一種切口相交無間隙的圖案，透過在相交的切口之間留出微小的間隙，它成為與另一種代表性圖案「Yarai」圖案過渡的設計。
這種玻璃是由小林玻璃工藝製作所製造的。這是已有近100年歷史的「江戶切子」工坊之一。目前，工作室由第三代小林義郎先生和第四代小林晃平先生負責管理。這款玻璃是由第三代宿郎先生手工製作的。
