Kobayashi Glass Art Studio | Tokyo Crystal Glass | Cut Glass, Sagging (Kiln Work)
Founded in 1908, the studio's techniques are now carried on by third-generation Yoshio and fourth-generation Kohei. They create intricate and lavish all-over pattern designs, jewelry, and even make glass blanks using their original "Sagging Kiriko" technique. Kobayashi Glass Art Studio is one of the "Edo Kiriko" workshops that has been around for nearly 100 years. The studio is currently run by the third-generation, Yoshio Kobayashi, and the fourth-generation, Kohei Kobayashi, and this glass was made by the third-generation, Yoshio. Yoshio is a prominent figure in Japanese "Edo Kiriko," having received awards at the "Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition" organized by the Japan Crafts Council, and having his works chosen as gifts for former Russian President Gorbachev.

Normally, it will be delivered in its original paulownia wood box. If you prefer a noshi, it will be an inner noshi, wrapped in wrapping paper, and then shipped.
