Profile

Chizu Blue Indigo Dye Workshop | Tottori
Natural indigo (sukumo), hand-dyed | Indigo-dyed products (clothing, accessories)
An indigo dye workshop founded on the principles of valuing "indigo, community, and camaraderie." We cultivate our own indigo seeds to create a unique dye called "sukumo." Our characteristic approach involves meticulous shibori (tie-dyeing) and repeated layering of dyes, resulting in a distinctively pure and clear indigo hue. We infuse our creations with the pristine waters and beautiful landscapes of Chizu, as well as the warmth of its people, delivering heartfelt products that seamlessly integrate into everyday life.
