Hina dolls, colorful robes, Ume-tanpopo
These glass Hina dolls are exclusively available at TSUCHI-YA.
The layered attire of the Empress's juni-hitoe and the Emperor's sokutai are represented using kiriko cutting techniques. Gold accents are also applied within the glass.
For these softly colored Hina dolls, we've assigned Japanese names of spring flowers. You can choose your preferred combination from two colors for the Empress (Violet / Dandelion) and two colors for the Emperor (Light Indigo / Light Red Plum).
One glass pedestal is included, designed to elegantly enhance the colors and cuts of the Hina dolls. The edges are cut diagonally and carefully polished.
Hina dolls are displayed once a year with the hope that children will grow up healthy and happy.
Outside of the season, they come in a paulownia wood box for safekeeping.
